Friday Finds {10-17-08}

The idea is to share, every Friday, about books that you’ve recently discovered (never heard of before) that sound really good!

Every Friday, those who have blogs will write a post at their own blog, and then come back and leave others a link to follow on that week’s “Friday Finds” post here at Should Be Reading. For those who don’t blog, you can just tell us about your “Friday Finds” in a comment on that week’s post. )

Some of the books that have jumped out at me this week are all Teaser Tuesday books:
  • misscz's- The Devil's Footprints by Amanda Stevens
  • tanabata's- Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino
  • Valerie's- A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth
  • Dar's- The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran

  1. I so want to read both Nefertiti and The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran.

    I'd better get back to reading Grotesque now... :P

  4. Welcome to Friday Finds. I've heard of most of these, but not sure they'd be for me. That said, A Suitable Boy always intrigued me.

  5. Nice surprise seeing you mention "A Suitable Boy" as mentioned in my blog. In spite of it's length, I have been reading it whenever I can-- and think I will be finished within a couple days! I definitely will write a full review when I'm done.

Thank you for letting me know your thoughts and that you were here. I read all of your comments. If you are commenting on a post that is from 14 or more days ago, your comment will have to be approved before it appears.

I try to respond to all comments. I will respond either right here in the comment section of this post, on your own blog or through email. =)

IMPORTANT: Kylee's Journal Disclosure

In accordance with the FTC Guidelines for blogging and endorsements, Kylee's Journal would like everyone to know that the books reviewed on my blog were either provided to me by the publisher/the author for free OR were purchased by me OR were borrowed from the library. Books recieved for free do not get special treatment, if I don't like something, I either will not finish it (DNF) or I will struggle through to the end; both get reviews posted here.
