Teaser Tuesdays {12-2-08}

  • Grab your current read
  • Let the book fall open to a random page
  • Share with us two (2) "teaser" sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you're getting your "teaser" from ... that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you've given!

This week's teaser sentences are from A Homespun Regency Christmas. It is an anthology of 4 stories. This teaser comes from The Wexford Carol by Emma Jensen.
As his hand closed around the doorknob, his arm brushed warmly against hers. He could feel the soft friction of wool against wool, could smell the clean, honey scent of her hair.

    Oh - I grew up reading Regency romances! My mom let me read them because they had no sex scenes!! I still love to pick them up and read them - great fun, quick reads.

    Here's my Teaser! It even includes a movie trailer for the book!

    I like that description - the clean honey scent of her hair! Are you enjoying the stories, Kylee? In the past I haven't had much luck with Christmas stories, although I read a great one a month or so ago (A Jolly Good Fellow.)
