Library Loot #7


Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva @ A Striped Armchair and Marg @ Reading Adventures that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. Here are the books that I have checked out right now:

Anne of Avonlea (2nd Volume of Anne of Green Gables)
Anne of Avonlea by LM Montgomery -- I want to read this and Anne of the Island this year. You can read the rest of my personal reading goals. This is left-over loot for me, but I am about 100 pages from the end.
Derby Girl
Derby Girl by Shauna Cross -- I'm going to read Derby Girl and then watch Whip It, the movie that was based on it for the Read the Book, See the Movie challenge.
The Poet
The Poet by Michael Connelly, Narrated by Buck Schirner -- I will be listening to The Poet for the Audio Book challenge.

Same loot as the last two weeks, but we are on page 156 of 256. Slow going, but 
we're getting there.

    Hope you enjoy The Poet - I think one of the best of MC.
    Love all those picture book covers.

  3. Oh, I loved the Anne of Green Gables (and Avonlea) series!

    I saw "Whip It!" Probably should have read the book first!
