This week mizb asks:
If you keep your books, where do you keep them? And, if you give them away, who do you give them to? Do you participate in Bookcrossing, BookMooch, PaperbackSwap, or the like? Do you give your old books to family & friends, or donate them? Are any of your books in storage due to not having enough space for them all? Or, are you one of the lucky ones who has their own “library”? Feel free to share pictures, if you have them!
I have the same dream/fantasy as mizb. I'd love to have a room just FULL of books. Three walls of books; the 4th wall would be French Doors out onto a slate tiled balcony. *sigh*

I'd love to have a room full of books too. That picture is heavenly!!! And a fireplace is a must in that room. Just add some comfy chairs, endless chocolate and coffee and it'd be perfect. Love it!

ReplyDeleteAnd there should be and endless supply of Chai along with the chocolate and coffee. *warm fuzzies*
Ooo, that picture... totally drool-worthy!
ReplyDeleteI want the same room you do!! And I absolutely love the picture.
ReplyDeleteHow I wish to have a grand library!
ReplyDeleteSigh!
Mine is here!
I keep many of my books, and the rest I donate to our library for use in their Used Book Sale, raising funds for the library.
ReplyDeletei would LOVE a big library full of books. but i have one bookshelf where i keep my books and then i bag and trade the ones i get done and don't want to keep. i just go to one of many used bookstores to swap. one of my favorite things to do...get new books!

Great picture. I have aroom for books and computer, but, alas, no french doors or fireplace (not even a window).
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of the library in the film "Casper" -- the 3-D version with Devon Sawa. Anyone? :) I love that library!
ReplyDeleteLOLOL! I pass mine on. I rarely keep a book after reading it.
