Announcement! part 2

And one more announcement!
  • I'd like to let you know about a new award. I've created the Hyacinth Award. I'll be using this to identify my bestest favorites. =) I got the idea from bethany's Happy Chicken Award. I toyed around with this idea when I had my old blog, but never got around to actually 'creating' one. So keep your eyes open for this award on future reviews. At some point this week I will be going through the reviews on my old blog and grace some of those with the Hyacinth Award.

  1. Sigh. Hit the "post" button instead of "preview."

    What a great idea! I love your graphic. I'm going to have spend a weekend learning to make buttons and badges.

  2. This is a nice idea too. Is there a special meaning behind the hyacinth, that made you pick it for the award? It's a pretty flower.

  3. @Joanne:
    Hyacinth's are one of my favorite flowers. I picked hyacinth over the other 2 because Carnation Award and Daffodil Award didn't sound as good in my head. =)

    @Beth:
    I made this one and the one on the top right of my page (book spines) at ImageChef.com - Just type in the wording and put in the picture. Very easy.
